Job Summary
PRN Recovery Support Specialist providing crisis intervention, trauma-informed stabilization, and ongoing program support across The Living Room, Mobile Crisis Response, and Drop-in Center. Duties include engaging clients, risk screening, safety planning, and facilitating wellness plans; shifts are on-site at Mt Prospect with 8-hour Living Room shifts and varied Drop-in Center/community events; CRSS/CPRS certification preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred; compensation starts at $24.10/hour with shift differentials and eligible for CRSS credential increases.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related discipline
- Preferred CRSS or CPRS certification
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in community-based mental health support
- Preferred valid IL Driver’s License and access to vehicle during Living Room shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certified Recovery Specialist (CRSS) or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) preferred
- 1-2 years experience with individuals recovering from serious mental illness
- Valid IL Driver’s License preferred
- Access to vehicle preferred for Living Room program shifts
