Job Summary
Recovery Support Specialist at Mirror residential facilities: supervise clients, monitor groups, provide educational presentations, facilitate recreation therapy, maintain client movement records in Credible, ensure confidentiality, transport clients to community-based providers, assist with urine specimen collection, manage co-payments per policy, and support KDADS compliance and audits. Requires a high school diploma or GED; college coursework in human services/addiction desirable; Proficiency in MS Word; familiarity with electronic health records; ability to lift up to 40/50 pounds; willingness to work overtime past 40 hours; knowledge of addiction and relevant regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 1. High school diploma or General Educational Development certificate.
- 2. College courses in human services or the field of addiction would be desirable.
- 3. Experience in supervising and interacting with persons addicted to drugs or the prison population would be desirable.
- 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word with basic understanding of Excel preferred.
- 5. Good reading, writing and communication skills.
