Job Summary
Conduct 24-hour direct supervision of clients, enforcing policies and procedures while holding individuals personally accountable. Observe and document medication administration, client behavior, and behavioral issues to assess the recovery process. Transport clients to and from 12 Step meetings, medical appointments, and admission/discharge activities. Serve as an intermediate between clients and clinicians, offering growth opportunities and support based on the 12 Steps. Manage the new client admission process, including property searches, client searches, paperwork completion, and EMR uploads. Maintain accurate medication logs and record client interactions while attending groups to log information. Work independently or with a team to carry out assignments within prescribed routines and standard practices.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass State of Texas driving record checks
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to follow and complete a task list on a daily basis
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- 12-step recovery knowledge a plus
- Some computer proficiency
- Prior work experience in a substance abuse facility a plus
