Job Summary
Oversee daily recovery operations by completing ocular tissue procurements, including donor history reviews, assessments, blood collection, and tissue recovery with accurate database documentation. Train and onboard new technicians through shadowing and hands-on instruction while maintaining trainer competency. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues and participate in Administrator On Call rotations for Technician and Donor Logistics to provide after-hours support. Ensure compliance with SOPs, EBAA, FDA, and HIPAA regulations through timely QA reporting, investigations, and annual competency reviews. Manage staff schedules, timekeeping, attendance, and PTO monitoring while leading monthly team meetings and one-on-one check-ins. Partner with leadership on performance feedback, recruitment, and onboarding. Maintain supply inventory, facility equipment, and company vehicles. Requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and 24-hour on-call coverage with flexibility for 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Acceptable driving record as determined by the organization
- Reliable transportation
