Job Summary
Recovery Specialist responsible for supervising residents at Sunrise Ridge, a trauma-informed, gender-responsive recovery home for women. Provide medication oversight and documentation, lead recovery-focused groups, perform wellness and safety checks, complete detailed shift notes and incident reports, and facilitate transportation and advocacy for residents. Support pregnant/postpartum residents, ensure mandated reporting of suspected abuse/neglect, and uphold a safe, structured environment. Requires experience in residential treatment or peer recovery coaching; at least one year of continuous sobriety if you have lived experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based documentation (e.g., Kipu); valid driver’s license; and passing CORI and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in residential treatment, peer recovery coaching, or behavioral health settings preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- CORI check and Adam Walsh/Child Protective Services Background Check
