Job Summary
Create a safe, calm, and supportive overnight environment for youth ages 12–18 in recovery by supervising evening, overnight, and early morning routines. Build positive relationships through structure, encouragement, and accountability while monitoring behavior, conducting room checks, and documenting observations. Respond calmly to crises, administer medications, and enforce program expectations with consistency. Support morning routines including wake-up, hygiene, and breakfast, then transport participants as needed. Communicate overnight updates with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care. This role requires flexibility for on-call rotation and travel, with a focus on providing consistent support in a structured residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience in the care and management of groups of adolescents.
- Flexibility to serve on the on-call rotation and cover shifts.
- Travel, including transporting clients, is required for this position.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Have a valid, state-issued, driver's license.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Have adequate insurance coverage per YSS policy.
