Job Summary
The Recovery Specialist will maintain a caseload of 22 adults with severe mental illness, ensure successful community integration through one-on-one counseling and group sessions, and provide access to community resources like mental health professionals, rehabilitation, housing, and entitlements. Responsibilities also include crisis intervention when needed, maintaining ongoing documentation and program assessments, creating Individualized Treatment Plans, and adhering to OMH, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations. Attendance at team meetings and trainings is required.
Required Qualifications
- LMSW
- LMHC
- LCAT
- Limited permit
- Minimum of 1 year working with the mental health population
