Job Summary
The Recovery Specialist II provides care responding to the physical and psychological needs of members served in a mental health setting. This position delivers direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D with two years of experience, or a BA/BS with one year in a mental health setting, along with knowledge of basic nursing skills, health conditions, and a current Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA/BS with one (1) year experience in mental health setting
- Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions
- Must have a current Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor certification
Desired Qualifications
- Certification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge
- Experience in a psychiatric mental health setting
Additional Requirements
- First-time AAC applicants may have a 30-90-day processing period before approval and active credentials are issued
- Internal applicants and applicants employed with Telecare in the previous 12 months would not be eligible for sign-on bonus
