Job Summary
Provide direct client services delivering Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS) to individuals at all stages in recovery; assess client needs and deliver care coordination based on needs; develop Recovery and Employment plans with clients; document all client activities within Electronic Medical Records; maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR compliance; apply Motivational Interviewing techniques when delivering PRSS; perform Medicaid billing and compliance within delivering PRSS services; pursue Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) licensure and maintain licensure per guidelines; participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development; contribute to program reporting and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET
- CRSW Licensure, preferred but not required
- Direct or indirect lived experience with Substance Use and/or Mental Health
- Trained in Motivational Interviewing, preferred but not required
- Knowlegable with Recovery Friendly Workplace Initiatives
- Reliable transportation
- Statewide resources
- Demonstrable ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
