Recovery Specialist, ATS (30 Hours Per Week)

Job Summary
Monitor clients during detox and early recovery while conducting intakes, completing documentation, and performing property searches. Support patients in a medical or office setting by ensuring safety, facilitating group sessions, and assisting with daily needs like meals. Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain therapeutic boundaries, reinforce program structure, and de-escalate behavioral changes. This role includes admissions, discharges, and safety checks within a 24-hour acute treatment setting. Priority is given to second shift and overnight coverage, with a salary of $21-$25/hr. The Dimock Center offers residential and outpatient treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, mental illness, or developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Frequent lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds
- Must be available for Friday to Monday 1st, 2nd and Overnight Shifts
- Priority is currently given to second shift and overnight coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required
- Significant experience supporting individuals with Substance Use Disorders or similar human services work is strongly preferred
- Recovery experience is a plus
- Lived recovery experience is welcomed and valued
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and commit to continuous improvement
- Positive, collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams
- Professional boundaries, confidentiality, and sound judgment
