Recovery Specialist Associate - Call Center

Recovery Specialist Associate - Call Center supports the Subrogation Recovery Operations team by identifying, tracking, and reconciling health insurance subrogation overpayments for providers, members, and third parties. Responsibilities include opening and closing subrogation items, collecting and verifying member and attorney information, maintaining detailed file notes from calls and written communications, handling high-volume intake via multiple channels, determining member eligibility using job aids and systems, and collaborating with other business units while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Prior call center experience and medical claims processing familiarity are preferred; strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are advantageous. The role operates in a hybrid schedule with in-office attendance 1-2 days per week and is part of Elevance Health’s subrogation recovery operations.
