Job Summary
Recovery Specialist in Addiction Treatment Services provides short-term residential support within Transitional Support Services (TSS) for men in early recovery. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and structure of the program milieu, supervising clients, conducting 30-minute well-being checks, performing admissions-related screenings, inspecting client belongings on admission and discharge, and completing documentation per agency policies. The role supports nursing and individual/c group treatment activities, aftercare planning, and related duties to help clients develop daily-living skills, goal setting, problem solving, and self-advocacy. Requires a high school diploma or GED; preferred MA driver’s license. Schedule is 40 hours per week (Tuesday–Saturday, 6:30a–3p); base hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.38 with potential adjustments based on experience and applicable pay practices.
Required Qualifications

- Valid MA Driver’s License preferred
- Experience with substance use population preferred
- Vaccination against influenza required by organization policy
