Recovery Negotiator

Recovery Negotiator responsible for managing a portfolio of non-fault claims after road traffic accidents, recovering costs from responsible parties including third-party insurers, policyholders, and suppliers. Duties include setting expectations, providing updates, collecting evidence, advancing claims to close as non-fault, and maintaining customer service standards via phone, written correspondence, and webchat. Requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT (Excel, Word, Access). Training provided; a background in customer service and telephony-based roles is advantageous. Role features hybrid working (one day per week in the office with remote work otherwise) with in-person training/events as needed, 37.5 hours/week (Mon-Fri 09:00–17:30) at Hastings Direct’s Bexhill office in the UK; salary £28,800 with progression opportunities; 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension match, life insurance, and extensive benefits.
