Recovery Motivator

Act as a welcoming and consistent presence within the Hastings service, supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol use, their families, carers, and wider support networks. Serve as a trusted point of contact to guide individuals toward accessing the right services across East Sussex. Work alongside staff and partners to strengthen community engagement while promoting service user involvement and peer-led activities. Help plan and facilitate recovery and wellbeing groups to contribute to an inclusive, supportive, and recovery-focused culture. This role values lived experience of drug and/or alcohol use and requires a compassionate, non-judgemental communicator. The position is part-time (15 hours per week) on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Eastbourne. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
