Job Summary
Recovery Mechanic role expanding into an Apprenticeship Coach capacity focused on coaching and assessing learners in recovery mechanics and fault diagnosis across multiple UK sites. Responsibilities include visiting apprentices in their workplace to deliver practical coaching on recovery and mechanical tasks; supporting learners to build skills in fault diagnosis, repair and vehicle recovery operations; assessing performance and recording progress against apprenticeship standards; providing clear feedback and ongoing support to help learners succeed; working with Army units and training teams to ensure quality, compliance and development outcomes; role involves travel across a range of internal and customer sites with a regional footprint across the North of England and Scotland, 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in vehicle mechanics or a related discipline
- Security Clearance
- able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (EDBS) security clearance
