Job Summary
Monitor residents in a recovery home, ensuring on-site presence during all resident hours and maintaining a substance-free environment through regular checks for prohibited items. Address grievances, respond to incidents, and enforce house rules consistently while providing additional support as needed. Account for all residents and model recovery principles and prosocial behavior. This role requires strong communication skills, adherence to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations, and availability for evening and weekend shifts. The position reports to the Recovery House Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations delicately
- Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 Regulations
- NPI number
- Ohio Medicaid ID
- Must pass all Federal and State background checks according to company policy
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts as needed
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Must be available for on-site presence during resident hours
Desired Qualifications
- Additional training in counseling or related field
- CPR certification
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a residential setting
