Job Summary
Recovery Friendly Advisor based in Concord, NH with hybrid work arrangement; requires significant in-state travel. Develops and maintains relationships with employers and stakeholders to advance New Hampshire's Recovery Friendly Workplace initiative; serves as primary point of contact for participating workplaces, providing guidance, account management, and support through designation/renewal processes. Maintains documentation and supports reporting/evaluation; collaborates with a high-performing team; develops resources, trainings, and program offerings; delivers trainings and presentations to employers and partners; supports statewide growth through outreach and stakeholder engagement. In-state travel is frequent; some evenings and weekends may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of experience in a business or nonprofit setting providing planning, project coordination, consultation, training, technical assistance or direct services. One year of which shall be in a substance use prevention, treatment, harm reduction, or recovery setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to individuals and groups.
- Knowledge of the theories and methods of public health and substance use prevention, treatment, recovery and harm reduction.
- Knowledge of basic business administration and operations.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with businesses, other professional and administrative officials, government officials and the public.
