Recovery Coordinator - Tenancy Sustainment

Job Summary
Establish effective communication and referral pathways for individuals at risk of homelessness while coordinating wrap-around support across emergency, temporary, and supported accommodations. Prioritize caseloads based on crisis intervention needs and attend multi-disciplinary team meetings to strengthen links with health, social care, and community assets. Collaborate closely with the local authority, primary care, mental health services, and voluntary organizations to enhance joint working and improve tenancy sustainability. Provide structured support regarding budgeting, education, and employment engagement. This role is based within Hull ReNew as part of the SWITCH Team, offering permanent full-time hours (37.5 weeks) with a salary range of £28,557.79 to £32,802.41. No visa sponsorship is available.
Required Qualifications
- An understanding and knowledge of the harmful effects associated with drug and Alcohol use in relation to health, social welfare, housing, employment and personal relationships
- Minimum of 12 months experience facilitating successful tenancy sustainment and working to achieve positive community connections
- Knowledge of benefits and applying for benefits in a supportive role
- The experience of engaging with a wide variety of individuals with a variety of backgrounds and needs
- The ability to work with and manage challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of local services and relevant interventions to support and sustain recovery especially related to training and education
- Knowledge of local registered social landlords and tenancy issues that affect our service user group
- Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK at the time of application
