Job Summary
Recovery Coordinator providing outreach, case management, and mental health rehabilitation services; conducts intake and comprehensive assessments; develops individualized treatment plans with clients and families; delivers counseling and crisis intervention; coordinates services to implement care plans and connects clients to community resources; maintains regular client contact including home visits; transport required using personal vehicle; maintains documentation and billing in compliance with regulatory standards (Short Doyle/Medi-Cal) and HIPAA; participates in staff meetings and program development; full-time position in Bakersfield, CA.
Required Qualifications
- AA, AS, or BA degree in human services, psychology, or related field and one year of related experience
- Minimum one year of case management or psychiatric treatment experience
- Valid California driver’s license and active auto insurance
- Knowledge of rehabilitation model preferred
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Related experience such as coaching, scouting, teacher’s aide, or CPS aide is a plus
