Job Summary
Support women experiencing substance misuse, homelessness, and trauma by providing advice, screening, and clinical interventions for drug and alcohol issues. Manage a caseload of complex needs through recovery planning, risk management, and therapeutic group facilitation. Collaborate with partner agencies including housing, safeguarding, and mental health services to ensure coordinated care. Act as the primary contact for liaison with women's services while promoting access to treatment for underrepresented groups.
Required Qualifications
- Prior knowledge and experience of working with women with complex needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good IT skills
- Proactive ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills
- Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
- Supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users
- Understanding of information governance processes
- Commitment to follow and apply all necessary safeguards
- Ability to seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden professional knowledge and skills
- Ability to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others
- Right to work in the UK at the time of application
- Enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check eligibility
