Recovery Coach - Residential Step Down

Recovery Coach in the Treasure Island Residential Step Down program provides direct services to clients, including intakes, assessment, crisis intervention, and case management to support health and recovery. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation for residents, facilitating individual coaching sessions, linking clients to internal and external resources, performing house runs to maintain safety, documenting updates and incidents, and ensuring a safe, welcoming facility environment. The role involves conducting crisis interventions, participating in treatment planning, documenting discharge and progress notes, and providing support during required trainings and meetings. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, First Aid and CPR certification, a valid California driver’s license with auto insurance, experience with substance use/mental health/criminal history barriers, and preferred Drug and Alcohol Registration. The position requires the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed and may involve bilingual communication and trauma-informed care knowledge.
