Job Summary
Assess immediate client and family needs, identify recovery barriers, and schedule individual coaching sessions. Maintain client records, coordinate case management appointments, and complete discharge procedures including aftercare planning. Assist with prospective client screening and admission, conduct drug testing, and perform Regional Detoxification Specialist duties as assigned in residential settings. Transport clients to outside agencies and support staff when required. Attend weekly Learning Labs and maintain availability for clients. Follow all company policies and procedures while managing time and prioritizing tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Registration in the state as a Counselor in Training (CIT)
- Certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor
- Completion of a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) training
- Knowledge of all local, state and federal regulatory requirements
- Minimum of a GED or high school diploma
- Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less
- Manual dexterity
- Auditory and visual skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
