Job Summary
The Recovery Coach Driver position involves providing peer support while transporting individuals in recovery. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation for clients to various treatment locations, discussing next steps in recovery during transport, educating on overdose risk and prevention, and completing necessary documentation and follow-ups with coalition partners. Candidates must possess a personal recovery background, demonstrate understanding of substance use disorders, and have effective communication skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Sufficient time in recovery from a substance use disorder
- Ability to share personal recovery experience
- Comprehensive understanding of addictive behaviors and substance use disorders
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and working toward certification
