Job Summary
Provide peer support while transporting individuals to various treatment locations in Massachusetts, engaging in discussions about recovery and medication assisted treatment. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, building relationships with community partners, and maintaining contact notes and required information. The role requires sufficient recovery experience, understanding of substance use disorders, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Sufficient time in recovery from a substance use disorder
- Comprehensive understanding of addictive behaviors, S.U.D's and recovery
- Effective communication skills orally and in writing
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and working toward certification
