Job Summary
Meet with co-facilitators to plan group therapy presentations and attend sessions to model appropriate participation. Assist in co-facilitating selected aspects of group therapy while providing support and encouragement to participants. Engage one-on-one with patients to offer additional support between program sessions and help them identify community recovery resources. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. If certified, provide supervision for others working toward CRSW certification. Requires completed Recovery Coach training including ethics training, CRSW certification within one year of hire, and a thorough understanding of stressors impacting patients recovering from opiate use disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Training as Recovery Coach, including ethics training
- Certification as a Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) required at time of hire or within 1 year of employment
- Thorough understanding of stressors impacting patients in recovery from opiate use disorders
- Able to maintain patient confidentiality
- Basic computer literacy skills
