Job Summary
Recovery Coach provides direct support to individuals in or seeking recovery, including family members and allies. Responsibilities include completing strength-based assessments, developing recovery plans, enrolling participants, conducting outreach in the community, providing transportation to activities and referrals, employing brief interventions, guiding participants through the continuum of care, linking to recovery resources, maintaining regular contact and documentation, facilitating peer-led group sessions, and establishing a Peer Leadership Advisory Council. Must be knowledgeable in recovery coaching principles, able to share personal recovery experiences appropriately, maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries, work collaboratively with professionals and the community, and have a clean driving record to operate program transportation.
