Job Summary
Provide prompt, courteous service and assistance to members while replenishing, stocking, and straightening merchandise across the sales floor. Maintain a clean, organized environment by removing empty cardboard, folding apparel, and ensuring accurate signage for all products. Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food items, and return re-shop merchandise to the sales floor. Support club policies and procedures, escalate member concerns as appropriate, and deliver GOLD Member Standards including a fast, friendly, full, fresh, and clean experience. Work 3 to 4 days including weekends from 3:30pm to 10:00pm. This part-time role supports BJ's Wholesale Club, a leading membership warehouse club serving over 8 million families with fresh produce, meat, and home goods.
Required Qualifications
- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to lift and move heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance
- Ability to use a pallet jack to pull and push pallets
- Ability to bend, climb, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping and climbing ladders/step stools
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Ability to be exposed to company authorized cleaning agents
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work between 3:30pm - 10:00pm
