Job Summary
Recovery Care Specialist at Aster Springs – Richmond location provides residential and outpatient eating-disorder treatment with home-like settings. Responsibilities include managing the daily milieu, ensuring client safety, documenting services and incident/group/milieu notes, collaborating with the clinical team to determine interventions, engaging clients in activities, encouraging ADLs and meals, supervising mealtimes, maintaining a therapeutic environment, delivering DBT-informed interventions, crisis de-escalation, transporting clients to appointments, assisting with admissions and discharge processes, charting in client records, and adhering to facility safety and ethics policies. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; minimum one year of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting; shifts include 2nd shift; part-time posting. Proficiency in collaboration with therapists, nutritionists, and staff to support individualized care plans is essential.
