Recovery Care Specialist - Part Time

Manage the daily milieu of the facility by interacting with clients throughout the shift to support functional needs and ensure safety. Collaborate with the clinical team to select interventions, facilitate education groups, and provide supervision during meals and activities. Therapeutically engage clients in one-to-one and group settings, modeling social behavior while encouraging self-care tasks like hygiene and laundry. Identify cues indicating status changes, react to crises using de-escalation techniques, and modify approaches based on behavioral functioning. Document services, incident reports, and shift notes accurately; conduct chart audits and client belonging searches. Support admissions, discharge processes, and medication compliance. Transport clients to appointments, perform vehicle safety checks, and greet guests warmly. Adhere to facility policies, ethics codes, and disaster plans while maintaining a positive team attitude.
