Job Summary
Collaborate with the clinical team to determine interventions, actively engage clients in milieu and group activities, and encourage ADLs like hygiene and laundry. Therapeutically interact with clients one-on-one and in groups, model social behavior, and react appropriately during crises while recognizing mood changes to develop coping skills. Document services, incident reports, and shift notes accurately; transport clients to appointments; support medication compliance; and prepare rooms for admissions. Conduct client belonging searches, facilitate education groups, and adapt approaches based on behavioral functioning. Comply with safety procedures, ethics codes, and facility policies while maintaining a positive team attitude.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
- Position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree strongly preferred
