Job Summary
Greet customers within a ten-foot radius and assist them in making informed purchase decisions while ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience. Organize, restock, and arrange products for effective displays, maintaining well-stocked shelves and adhering to Indoor Merchandising Guide standards. Complete the daily department recovery process, including wiping down shelves and sweeping beneath them, while ensuring bathrooms remain consistently clean. Operate handheld devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other retail equipment to uphold the store's general look and arrangement. Use general office equipment such as a telephone, computer, and calculator to provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support. Participate in cross-training for flexibility and actively engage in learning initiatives offered through training programs and webinars.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
- Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack.
- Able to navigate and access all facilities.
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
- Close vision for computer-related activities.
