Job Summary
Greet customers within a ten-foot radius, assist with purchase decisions, and deliver high-quality service. Organize, restock, and arrange products for effective displays while maintaining in-depth knowledge of featured items and their locations. Complete daily department recovery processes, ensuring merchandise returns to the sales floor and shelves remain well-stocked. Maintain department cleanliness by wiping shelves and sweeping beneath them, ensuring bathrooms are consistently clean. Operate handheld devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other retail equipment while adhering to safety protocols and Indoor Merchandising Guide standards. Participate in cross-training and learning initiatives to acquire new skills. Provide proactive internal and external support for inquiries and issues.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
- Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack.
- Able to navigate and access all facilities.
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
- Close vision for computer-related activities.
