Job Summary
Greet customers within a ten-foot radius, assist with purchase decisions, and deliver high-quality service to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience. Organize, restock, and arrange products for effective displays while maintaining an in-depth knowledge of featured items and their locations. Complete the daily department recovery process, including wiping down shelves, sweeping beneath them, and ensuring bathrooms remain consistently clean. Operate handheld devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, and ladders while adhering to Indoor Merchandising Guide standards and safety protocols. Participate in cross-training for flexibility and actively engage in learning initiatives to refine skills. Provide friendly, proactive support to internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating behaviors aligned with Rural King's Values of People First, Integrity, and Teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
- Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack.
- Able to navigate and access all facilities.
- Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
- Close vision for computer-related activities.
