Job Summary
Recovery Aide acts as the lead liaison between staff, and communicates with nurses, counselors, and medication specialists to support patients and families in addiction/behavioral health treatment. Responsibilities include monitoring high-risk patients, facilitating groups (e.g., Under 30, Relapse Prevention/WRAP, YAOPs), documenting attendance and outcomes in EMR, reporting to the Program Director and Nursing leadership, providing recovery-oriented socialization and boundary-aligned support, and performing duties to uphold Gosnold’s values. Requires prior experience/education in addiction or mental health, ability to work multiple shifts (including weekends), strong interpersonal skills, and CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in addiction or mental health field
- Ability to cover multiple shifts including weekends
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- Comfort in high-stress, fast-paced environment
- CPR certification or be CPR certifiable
