Job Summary
Records & Mobility Analyst for a Atlanta-based law firm Information Governance team. Responsibilities include administering matter mobility and records transfer policies, coordinating inbound/outbound movement of electronic and physical files, reviewing records for policy compliance, tracking mobility actions, serving as the primary contact during lateral attorney transitions, communicating with attorneys, clients, and internal teams, training staff on matter mobility best practices, running database searches and audits, performing data cleanup, troubleshooting records-related systems, and supporting special projects as needed. Requires 2+ years in records or information governance (legal/medical records a plus), associate’s degree or equivalent, strong Excel/Outlook/Teams/Smartsheet skills, familiarity with iManage and iCompli preferred, ability to handle confidential information, excellent organization and communication, ability to work independently and with remote teams, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in records, information governance, or similar
- Law firm experience a plus
- Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Smartsheet
- Familiarity with iManage and iCompli preferred
- High level of discretion with confidential information
- Strong organization, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable working independently and with remote teams
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
