Job Summary
As a Records Management Specialist I, you will play a critical role in shaping national security outcomes by conducting meticulous document reviews and declassification efforts. Key responsibilities include declassification determinations based on E.O. 13526, coordinating referrals of documents to original classification authorities, assisting in the accessioning process of records to NARA, and identifying metadata for each record. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with CI poly, a bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of relevant experience, along with a Department of Energy certification as a Historical Records Reviewer.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with CI poly
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience applying E.O. 13526 principles to declassification reviews
- A completed certification from Department of Energy as a Historical Records Reviewer
- The physical ability to lift boxes weighing approximately 25 pounds
