Job Summary

Plan, prioritize, and supervise staff assigned to the Records Program while identifying current and future requirements for Countywide records management systems. Prepare work plans, determine resources, and conduct fiscal impact and cost-benefit analyses to coordinate implementation of records management projects. Manage filing, scanning, storage, and retrieval of electronic and hard copy records, including overseeing inventories and developing retention schedules. Train users on policies, prepare financial reports, and serve as the County liaison for records-related projects and committees.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • six (6) years of related work experience in records management, project management, electronic message retention, budgeting, or finance
  • two (2) years in a supervisory role
  • compliance with the post-offer employment medical examination
  • compliance with the background investigation
  • compliance with the safety guidelines of the County
  • possession and maintenance of a New Mexico driver's license
  • completion of required FEMA training(s)
  • completion of required Supervisor classes if applicable
