Recording Studio Lead with Production Coordination Support

Job Summary
Oversee recording studio operations and act as the final local escalation owner for production matters, maintaining regular on-site presence during studio hours including bank holidays. Monitor audio projects, utilization, and efficiency KPIs while implementing Globalize workflows and technologies. Coordinate selected multilingual projects end-to-end, validate assets, manage talent bookings, and negotiate with vendors and actors within delegated authority. Recruit, onboard, and train freelance resources; forecast staffing needs and maintain backup coverage. Analyze project costs, margins, and productivity against budgets; review freelance invoices and approve monthly costs before submission to Finance. Manage direct reports, set objectives, and provide performance feedback aligned with the Recording Studio Manager. Maintain professional communication with Global Production and stakeholders, representing the studio at client events when required.
Required Qualifications
- +5 years of experience in audio production or localization, with knowledge of production tools and the gaming industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills
- fluent English and Spanish
- Proven experience with local unions, including negotiations, inspections, operational and payment-related processes, and professional relationships with union and talent representatives
- Experience reviewing and negotiating agreements with actors, directors, freelancers and vendors, including rates, buyouts, Star Talent arrangements, project costs and service terms, as well as managing freelance resources and external suppliers
- Strong team-management, leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced gaming environment
- Business travel availability
