Job Summary
Reconcile GL balance sheet accounts, prepare and post manual journal entries, and perform monthly and quarterly accruals while collaborating on the accounting closing process. Ensure compliance with USGAAP policies, support internal and external audits, and develop analysis for country controllers or business units. Identify process improvement opportunities by leveraging low-code tools to automate financial tasks and streamline reporting. Meet SLA guidelines and deliverables for shared services customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration
- Excellent communication both verbal and written in English (B2 or higher)
- At least 5 years of experience in General Accounting
- Shared Services environments experience
- Knowledge, insight and experience in financial/accounting processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Oracle (preferred) / SAP or other ERP experience
- Hyperion (HFM - preferred) or other reporting system
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working for the North America region
- Demonstrated high level knowledge in Accruals, Prepaids, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Month End Processes/routines
- Proven track record in stakeholder management (internal/external auditors, Finance Directors, and others)
- Certifications and/or courses in Artificial Intelligence, Automation and other Continuous Improvement, Project Management, and Agile Methodologies, such as Yellow or Green Belt, PMP, Scrum Master or equivalent
- Proficiency in low-code platforms (Power query, power apps, power automate) for streamlining financial processes and reporting
