Job Summary
GL-focused Junior Analyst role supporting day-to-day General Ledger operations: bank and accounts reconciliations, posting and reviewing journal entries, and assisting with accounting and reporting processes. Reports to the GL Team Lead and collaborates with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience across GL activities, while maintaining organized financial records and updating desktop procedures at least biannually. Emphasis on contributing to team metrics, handling inquiries from local entities, and identifying improvement opportunities to trigger new projects. Requires ongoing learning in accounting practices, strong communication with teammates and stakeholders, and a digital mindset for systems automation. English proficiency is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of study, majoring in Public Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Digital mindset for systems automation and connectivity
- Continuous improvement mindset for process improvements
- Understanding of financial analysis and statistics
- English: Intermediate - Advanced preferred
