Job Summary
The Reconstruction Repair Lead will oversee and manage the repair and restoration of structures after damage, leading a team of technicians to complete projects on time and within budget while enforcing safety and quality standards. You’ll serve as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and project managers, assess damage scope, create repair plans, supervise repairs, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Key duties include daily documentation, coordinating materials and equipment, leading crews, reading blueprints, performing finish carpentry and painting, drywall tasks (hanging, taping, texturing), cabinetry and trim installation, and maintaining high customer service levels. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks, report on job status, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. OSHA safety adherence and a desire to grow with a company in the Montana restoration market are valued.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years overseeing and leading a team
- 2 years of experience in hanging, taping, and texturing drywall
- 2 years of experience in installing cabinetry and trim
- 2 or more years of experience in residential and/or commercial building repairs
- Reading blueprints and navigating layouts
- Experience in painting walls, trim, and building exteriors
- Providing exceptional customer service
- IICRC Certifications Preferred
- Valid Driving License and pass a MVR check
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Experience in the water and fire restoration industry is a plus
