Job Summary
Reconstruction Manager to lead multi-project restoration initiatives in a full-service disaster restoration firm. Responsible for developing and managing project plans (budget, schedule, quality), coordinating with clients, estimators, architects, engineers, and contractors, conducting site visits, managing risks and changes (scope, schedule, budget), tracking expenses, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, supervising teams and subcontractors, and delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality. Requires 3-5 years in construction-related fields, strong communication and organizational skills, budget and cost-management capabilities, proficiency with Xactimate and MS Office, and ability to manage multiple projects and teams; based in Sheboygan, WI with a typical full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a construction-related field
- Construction management experience, preferably in the residential restoration industry
- Knowledge of insurance claim procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Exceptional skills in communication, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, and cost management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to maintain budgets in a timely fashion
- Ability to manage project plans and construction activity
- Knowledge of materials, budgeting, and margins
- Ability to utilize the latest server and cloud-based computer technology, including Xactimate estimating software, Microsoft Office, Proven Jobs, etc.
- Ability to manage their teams and Subcontractors
- Desire to consistently strive to implement and maintain a strong understanding of construction operations and procedures
