Job Summary
Reconstruction Foreman / Assistant Project Manager in the San Marcos, CA area provides hands-on field support to the Project Manager, performing light carpentry, site coordination, material pickups, punch work, and daily project assistance to keep residential and commercial restoration projects moving on schedule. Responsible for site visits, coordinating subcontractors, communicating with homeowners and vendors, documenting progress, and helping with project closeout as the role grows toward larger project management responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on construction experience
- Experience with residential reconstruction, remodeling, punch work, or light carpentry strongly preferred
- Ability to complete basic finish work including trim and baseboards
- Strong work ethic with willingness to learn and grow
- Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills
- Team player with a “figure it out” mentality
- Honest, dependable, and solutions-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Restoration industry experience is a plus but not required
