Job Summary
Reconstruction Estimator / Project Manager responsible for overseeing recovery projects after fire, water, storm, and other property damage. Key duties include developing detailed reconstruction estimates, creating scopes of work for both residential and commercial projects, managing estimates with Xactimate, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards while delivering exceptional customer service. Ideal candidate will have construction estimating/project management experience, strong knowledge of construction practices, ability to manage multiple projects, experience with insurance restoration, and proficiency with Xactimate; certifications in Xactimate and IICRC/OSHA are preferred. This role requires field inspections, documentation, leadership, and effective communication with customers, insurance adjusters, and office staff; local travel between project sites is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of construction estimating or project management experience
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices
- Experience with insurance restoration preferred
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
