Job Summary
Reconstruction Sales Associate within the Orthopaedics-Reconstruction team drives territory growth by supporting hospital accounts and surgeons. Responsibilities include assisting in scheduling operative cases, securing inventory, observing and consulting the surgical team on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants, and managing the logistics of cases. Develop technical expertise in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio through structured trainings, build rapport with surgeons, hospital staff, and KOLs, and collaborate with teammates to create a territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quotas. Must be adaptable to untraditional hours, exhibit strong relationship-building and data-driven problem-solving to improve patient outcomes. Credentials required for facilities may include facility-adherence protocols, with travel expected within the designated sales territory (2–4 overnights per month) and occasional national travel. A Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional sales experience are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license and ability to gain entry into healthcare facilities through credentialing; the role emphasizes self-motivation, collaboration, and a patient-centered approach.
