Job Summary
Perform repairs on reconditioned vehicles by diagnosing, maintaining, and fixing automotive systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical components. Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repairs, then communicate directly with the Service Advisor to provide estimates for additional service needs. Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications while operating electronic diagnostic equipment. This role requires previous automotive technician experience, steady hand dexterity, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive technician
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
