Job Summary
Reconciliation Specialist responsible for ensuring patient accounts are billed, posted, and reconciled to a zero balance, with experience in cash posting/reconciliation, insurance portals, and EMR systems. Requires strong Excel and Google Docs skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and a hybrid schedule near Nashville, TN. Duties emphasize posting payments, resolving account issues with payers/patients, maintaining accuracy, meeting KPI targets, and navigating clearinghouses and insurance portals.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in cash posting and/or reconciliation of patient accounts
- Proficient in Google, Google Docs, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience with NexGen a plus
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Meet deadlines and KPI metric expectations
- Experience in navigating clearinghouses and insurance portals
- Proficiency with medical record technology required
- Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
- Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Salesforce–in addition to EMR and survey software on a daily basis
