Job Summary
Reconciliation Manager oversees staff and department operations to ensure timely, accurate results. Responsibilities include guiding and coaching staff, hiring and evaluating personnel, applying disciplinary procedures per Vanguard standards, setting and reviewing performance standards, managing relationships with internal clients and external partners, developing and monitoring controls, initiating process enhancements, preparing documentation for auditors, and supporting budgeting and cost forecasts within established guidelines. Requires an undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred), and a minimum of five years general management experience with reconciliation exposure; strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
- Graduate degree preferred
- Minimum five years general management experience
- Reconciliation management experience preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of internal control theory and practice
- Customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; ability to learn operating systems
