Job Summary
Reconciliation & Audit Specialist responsible for the general accounting functions of the bank, including preparation of accounting entries, monthly financial statements, and regulatory reports (e.g., FDIC Call Report, CECL). Will reconcile investments and fixed assets, prepare various financial and management reports, and provide materials for internal and external auditors. Requires proficiency in Excel/Word and familiarity with financial systems, with attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team. On-site role at Greenfield Savings Bank; reports to VP & Controller; provides backup for other accounting duties and supports implementation of new procedures to comply with accounting standards and regulatory changes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (in Accounting or Finance is preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal guidance
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential data
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail is critical
