Job Summary
Recon Software Engineer responsible for design and implementation of medical imaging tomographic reconstruction software within GE Healthcare Molecular Imaging scanner products. Duties include coding of algorithms and reconstruction tools in C++/OpenCL/CUDA, architecture and design of software subsystems, interfacing reconstruction environment with other subsystems, optimizing engines for performance and memory usage, writing requirements/design documents, unit tests, supporting verification and validation, field investigations as needed, data/configuration management, technical reviews, and staying current with trends in computing. Requires advanced degree path and 5+ years in C/C++. Location in Haifa, Israel; on-site position; relocation not provided. Required Qualifications
- B.A/B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer sciences/computer engineering/software engineering from a known academic institution
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C/C++
- Excellent C/C++ programming, including debugging, performance analysis, and testing
- Experience in software architecture and design
- Ability to creatively solve complex problems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
